awaited weekends

Already June and only a few more hours until another work week! This means 5more days until another awaited weekend!

This past weekend was pretty hetic yet productive.

Rainy nights were stuck at home =[

Chilled with Joe and Matty after work. Nothing beats guys night with some beer, hotsauce & tequila.
Watched YES MAN which was very entertaining.

Heres me constantly having to be online no matter how late it is. Joe was doing someone else’s physics paper for some side cash.

Friday @ work

RadioCity was preparing for the TONY awards for Saturday.

Heres John hyung getting some fresh air ^^ (also Nicolas Cage was shooting his latest movie the Sorcerer’s something on 5th Ave).

Friday after work Christine and I went to Kevin hyungs birthday party in the Meat Packing District @ HighLine.
I also bought a stolen kids book off a bum titled “Black Beauty”. I must have been drunk because now that I look at the cover it says $1.50; I paid $3 and the first page has the name Esther Lem.  On another note White Russian does infact taste a lot like ice coffee with vodka. (sorry no photos yet.)

Running late to a party and still haven’t pregamed? ill give you the how-to remedy all within 15 minutes.

Step1: eat as many kimbaps as you can within 5minutes.
Step2: down your redbull vodka within 5minutes the quicker the better.
Step3: take a speedy yellow cab from ktown toward the meatpacking district all within 5minutes.

Saturday was very productive.
Went over to my Hyungs shop in Flushing to get my brake pads swapped out with a fresh set of HAWK HPS! (dont ask why I didnt do them myself. because I dont have my tools on me). These have got to be the best pads ever. no not the bitchy ceramic kinds your mama uses, these are fero carbon composite kind(meaning they will eat your rotors yet stops your car on a dime). You do have to warm them up before hitting the brakes when you start your car in the morning.

I also decided to refill my contact perscription since I was in Flushing, and I brought the wrong perscription -_-.
Reason for contacts?

So I can have a reason to pick up the new Mosley Tribes Gates! These are so dope for Vegas, or whenever im out during the day.

Also Flushing isnt what it used to be with fresh bold kicks, all they’re styles are so conservative and the colorways are also pretty outdated.

Now these are pretty fresh! Picked the colorways myself not sure If i can wait a month for these babies. You can also personalize them by adding your name or mine @ nike.com (look for the nikeID section to build your own airmax90s)

Saturday afternoon was spent mostly at RFM.
Before I went to RFM I had to pick up Tiffany and Peter AND before picking any of them up I did in fact miss a potential fender bender due to my new HAWKS! <3
which puts me in retrospective to what would of happened If I didnt change out my pads.

Im not too fond of hitting the malls with girls since they take forever to shop and pick, but today I was wrong.
The guys took forever. at least 2hours at Express picking and deciding on the right clothes for themselves.

Not too sure on what Matt bought anymore since he always buys it then returns it. Giving him another reason to head back to Express.
And Ryuji isnt too fond with my suggestions on shirts. We’ll just have Minhee decide on Friday!

And Saturday night is where I created my 13hour self induced coma.
So after the shopping and hanging out I ended up at Prince2 to watch some Baseball.
Felt a little off for some reason(not exactly in my Jingiko state of mind maybe i felt a little lonely). Figured id drink it off.
Once I was pretty much drunk due to all the jager/irish/redbull/vodka/citron etc, I decided to impress the owner with my increased tolerance by buying her a shot of johnny. She pretty much knew I was drunk and yet still agreed since I was buying.
And heres my genius idea which was to impress her so Sunny could grab a few days off to vaca with us without getting in trouble (not sure how drinking with the owner would get sunny a few days off but I still went with it). 5minutes in and we’re already done with 3shots of johnny. i think we had 2 or 3more shots after a few minutes since she came back and admited she was drunk and wanted to buy me a few in return.
So im at the point of no return and went with it anyway.

Lets just say once I got home I passed out for a good 13hours. Woke up at 5:30PM, missed church/10text mesg/6calls; and I wasent sure if it was still Sunday or Monday.
After I composed myself, I ended up watching “You Me and Dupree”, I am the biggest fan boy for Kate Hudson I love her personality. I can probably sit an entire day at home and rewatch all of her movies. I know most of them are chick flicks haha.

My young fresh new world.

Hey everyone!

I know I’ve been slacking on my postings for well over a month.  I always wanted to make “blogging” into a daily/if not weekly habit, but due to work and fun; I never really had the chance or patience to actually BLOG.

But recently I met a lovely girl named CHRISTINE! (hey rubberband girl!). to remind me the importance of blogging (that and the only way I can peek hers is if I too blog myself on a regular basis).

Hmm.. lets see what has Sam Ko(JINGIKO) been up to the past couple of weeks?

For starters I have definitely increased my tolerance for alcohol (thanks to all of my hyungs and nunas).

Second; I have also learned the importance that LIFE happens only once in your life and I definitely do not want to miss out on it.
Third; Never live with regrets, esp in TODAY’s world. There isn’t enough time to actually sit around and dwell upon your mistakes and minfortune; if you do your missing out on LIFE!
Fourth; I have caught up with a lot of old friends to see what they have been up to.

Fatlace Movement

I’ve been meaning to get back onto blogging, but didn’t have anything worthwhile to post, until I checked my mailbox. I promise to update this blog as frequently with exciting stories.

I recieved my spring pre-order from Fatlace!
Ive been following up with Fatlace for the past year, constantly checking their website to see if they would finally launch their online shopping section.

However last year I did meet a friend out in Boston that lives in SF, and she was going back home for winter break. I couldn’t think of anything else but to ask her if she could do me a favor and stop by their store to pick me up some shirts (Thanks Hannah!). Well I got my shirts and stickers too!

Fatlace has been around since 98, and Mark Arcenal has always delivered top quality products.
I am very excited to see what else he brings out this year! Be sure to check him out at www.fatlace.com, you’ll be amazed at what kind of projects hes been a part of.
